Welcome to Shoopsoldier Stuff. This is my blog, obviously, and I'm posting my drawings on it just to kind of put them out there and get known. So enjoy!

Pokemon Robot (Unfinished)
Another week gone, and it's still not finished. I apologise, doing GCSE's and finding time to draw at the same time is pretty darn difficult. As you can see, I've done all of Mew except for his tail (only his head was done the first time I uploaded this) and I've made a start on Flareon in the top right there.
I'll be sure to keep updating you guys on progress every weekend, and who knows? Maybe it'll be done one of these days.

Pokemon Robot So Far...
So I'm incredibly sorry I haven't finished this yet. I know I promised you guys it would be done by this weekend just gone, but I got a buttload of homework on Friday and didn't have enough time to finish it. Because I feel so bad about not finishing it I'll upload the unfinished product early to wet your guys appetite, then I'll upload both the finally finished template and photos of the actual built cardboard robot sometime soon. Thanks so much again for your ongoing patience, I love you guys!
So, onto the actual drawing. I've coloured this pencil sketch in on the computer using my Wacom Bamboo tablet (which I haven't used in such a very long time, as you may have been able to tell from the utter lack of computer generated drawings I've been uploading), and I'm so. Damn. Proud of it! None of the Pokemon are traced, copied and pasted, or pre-rendered, they are all copied FROM LIFE. By that I mean I looked at pictures of each one and drew them myself. Why didn't I just copy and paste them? I hear you ask. Well, I really wanted something that I'd spent a lot of time on and that I knew was mine, completely done by me. My thoughts on this so far? It's going to be bloody brilliant.

Vampirette w/ Violin Propelled Grenade (VPG)
Uploaded a day late, sorry about that! Couldn't decide between calling it an 'RPV' or a 'VPG', but I went with what I thought made the most sense. Not as pleased with this one as I was with the last one and I don't know if I'll be doing any more Vampirettes anytime soon, but there's still a possibility. Still working on my big project, trying to work on it as much as possible so I can have it done in time for the end of this week. Enjoy!

I'm coming back!
Just a quick update to let you guys know that I haven't deserted you, and I'm currently working on a pretty complex project that I really hope is going to be done by next weekend. I'm gonna try really hard to finish it for you guys, so look forward to that! I've also got another Vampirette on the way, she'll be up tomorrow. Thank you so much for your continued support and patience, and I'll upload again soon.

Vampirette w/ Shotguitar
I am INCREDIBLY proud of this one. It took me two days, turned out nothing like I imagined it, and ended up being one of the best drawings I've ever done. Let me know what you think!

Spade: First Ace of Solitaire Section
"I'll put you six feet under!"
The redheaded Codename Spade is the assault expert on the team. She prefers to stick to assault rifles and she's always the first to rush into battle.

NEW PROJECT: Solitaire Section
At some point in the near future, a secret branch of the United States Military has been created. It consists of four anonymous female soldiers, each represented by one of the four playing card suits, simply known as the Aces. Spade. Heart. Club. Diamond. They are Solitaire Section, and they will hunt you down.
South Park Teenagers: Kyle
Here's the first of a series (hopefully) of drawings I'm going to be doing over the summer. I like the idea of doing little projects with about 3 or 4 different characters (and therefore a drawing for each one) like my "Human Sonic" characters so I can get used to that and then start on some larger projects like graphic novels and comics and stuff (speaking of which, Dead End is still on the way! I'm working on it, don't worry!). I think I'll do... Stan next, so look out for him and loads of other drawings during the next few weeks!
Finn and Jake
Adventure Time is just frickin' awesome and I love it. I drew this ages ago, sorry I haven't been uploading many drawings recently, I had mock exams to get out of the way and bleurgh. But now! I am back, and new drawings will be rolling out every couple of days if I get enough inspiration!

NEW SKETCHBOOK!
Guys, I've decorated my new sketchbook! It looks just as cool if not cooler than my first one, and I can only dream of the adventures we're going to have on the pages of this one by the time it's done. For those of you following this blog, thank you so much for your continued support and I hope you stay with me through this sketchbook and many more to come.
So, the one on the left is my old sketchbook, the one I just finished a few days ago (the 'Deluxe Link' post below is the last drawing I did in it) and the one on the right is my snazzy new one (decorated this morning)!

Deluxe Link!
I've called this one deluxe Link because it's unlike my normal style of drawing him. I copied this one, but no tracing or anything and it doesn't look anything like the original image so it's all good!
I've now FINISHED my sketchbook! I have another one with some drawings in it already, I'll upload them when I can. I thought it would be a nice way to finish the book, returning to one of my favourite characters of all time and properly spending a lot of time on an awesome drawing of him (if I do say so myself).
Human Sonic 2: Knuckles the Echidna
I told you there were more on the way! I think I'll do Shadow next and the maybe Rouge if I can what with all my exams coming up and all. I'll try my best!

Human Sonic 1: Sonic the Hedgehog
I kept my promise! More drawings are finally here! Here's Sonic the Hedgehog looking much more human-y. I managed to knock this one out in about half an hour because it's not too detailed so I might be doing some more of these "Human Sonic" characters soon. Despite its simplicity, I actually like this one. More soon!
Drawings on the way!
Guys, I know I haven't been keeping to my promises of more "Dead End" pages or more drawings, but this is just a lil' post to let you all know that I DO HAVE MORE DRAWINGS IN PROGRESS. I'm drawing like three at once so that's why I'm not getting them out as quickly. Also, I'm just working through a large patch of revision that I've gotta get done so I can get awesome GCSE's, then I'll be back on track. Thanks for your patience, guys, and you'll hear from me very soon!

Angel Duo
I went and dug out these really old drawings that I'd done after something on the internet reminded me today of the good angel's wings. I was like "Oh man... Did I ever do a drawing with wings just like that?" but I couldn't for the life of me remember what the rest of him looked like, I could only remember the wings.
Now, for the Fallen Angel. I literally can't remember drawing this one, it's so weird. Like... I remember the finished result, like if someone said "Did you draw this?" I'd be like "Oh hell yeah", but I can't remember the actual start-to-finish process. I literally flipped out when I saw it and I just ran around my house shouting about how amazing it was and how angry I was that I hadn't uploaded it at the time. The purple sword and the red wings are so beastly, I'm pretty proud of myself right now.
Also, I find it really strange that I drew a Fallen Angel drawing so many years before my Lucifer drawings and just didn't even make the connection until now. Creepy...
Let me know what you think, and the reason they've got signatures on them is because I wrote them on a minute ago to avoid art theft or anything (I guess when I was younger it never occurred to me that people would steal my art so I never signed anything). Enjoy!

Rouge the Bat
I'm actually really proud of this one, a lot went wrong when I was drawing it so this time the end result seems so much better. Enjoy!

Lucifer: Fallen Angel V2
Here's a before and after comparison between my old Lucifer and my new one which I finished today! I got the idea to update him when I was drawing his head (he started off as a random manga character with a bandana) and I drew horns on him to see what he looked like. I decided against the horns but as after I rubbed the first one out, I realised he looked just like a better version of my first Lucifer. Thus, I decided to start work on a new and improved version to show off how much better I've gotten at drawing over the past year! Granted, I did swap the good and evil sides by mistake but that doesn't matter at all really.
My brother asked me about half a year ago, about a month after I'd drawn my first Lucifer, if he could have a big version of it in a frame. I of course said "Yeah, sure! I'll see what I can do!" and planned to give it to him for his birthday. Instead, I think I'll surprise him with this much awesomer version!

Carnage
I started this drawing in 2012, but as you can see from the sneaky signature on one of his lower tendrils, I've only just finished it in 2013! This turned out a lot better than I thought it would, and I'm glad that I ended up completing it! Enjoy guys!

Dead End Is Still In Progress!
Guys, this is just a quick post to let you all know that I haven't given up on my graphic novel. I just needed a little time to rest but as soon as I get this buttload of homework out of the way I'm gonna star working on Dead End again!
Finn and Jake
This is part of a much larger project (that I can hopefully stick to this time) so look out for that in the not too distant future!

Higher (Poetry)
I will always climb higher,
Scaling the tallest of trees
And trying to break through the clouds to the light of the warm sun above them,
Though I know in my heart of hearts,
That it will never shine as brightly as you.

Androids
An idea had whilst I was watching Lord of the Rings. Has nothing to do with the films or anything, just thought I'd point out that that was the moment when I had this inspiration. Strange!
Either way, I kinda like this one. S'not the best I've ever done by far, but hey, it's pretty good.
TEMPORARY DOWNTIME
Our internet is kind of screwy at the moment, so if I don't upload any drawings for a while then that's the reason why. But seeing as I'm writing this post, it seems like my blog is the only website that works! Woop!

Manga Me!
Here's a manga version of myself, drawn by me! This is all visually accurate, from the clothes down to the moles on my cheek. I am SO proud of this one, and I'll have to use this one as my new Blogger profile picture! As usual, let me know if you guys like it, and I'll get back to you with some more drawings soon!

Hand 1: Peace (Life Drawing)
Here's another life drawing for you guys! I won't be going over them in pen in the order I did them originally, so don't let the dates in the corners confuse you. I should also note that this one's favourite amongst my friends! More coming soon!
Bop It! Extreme (Life Drawing)
The first of my many drawings from life! As you can see from the date in the corner, I did these in late 2012 so they're not the newest of drawings. But either way, they still look good. More on the way!
Life Drawings On the Way!
It's me again, shooprecruits, and just a little update to let you know that I've started going over some of my old pencil drawings from life in pen to make them look all awesome and professional! I'm going to be uploading them as I finish them, so there'll be two after this post and some more tomorrow too. Look out for them, and I'll keep you guys posted on other things like "Dead End" and more drawings as usual.
Vaporeon
My favourite Pokemon ever! I actually fricking love Vaporeon and it's amazing and... and... I lav it!
The blues are all a bit dark compared to how she (yep, this one's a girl) actually looks in real life. Well, real video game life. You know what I mean! The colours I used were too dark, is what I'm trying to say, but she still looks good. Also? One of the first time's I've ever used shadow and light effects on a drawing. It turned out awesome!

Shadow the Hedgehog
The World Through Your Eyes
I did this because... because. I don't know really... It's kinda cool though, right? Let me know what you think, and this one's open to interpretation so take it to mean what you want it to mean.

Dead End Chapter 2 Update
It's me again! I've now, like I said I probably would, started Chapter 2 of Dead End! Chapter 1: Screw-Loose (because Bella Spanner, the character, is a mechanic) is still in the works and I'm having a bit of trouble with it, but nothing permanent.
Chapter 2: Frostbite (please note the obvious pun) tells the short story of a Russian farmer and hunter named Sergei Petrov who is defending his land with a humble shotgun in the middle of winter. This one has a more brutal and gritty take on the zombie-pocalypse than Bella's chapter does, so I'm putting a gore warning out there right now.
That's about everything, and I'll probably post the first page as soon as it's done, but that's all you cheeky chaps and chapettes are getting for this one! Bye for now!

Dead End Update and Sneak Peek
Hello once again, shooprecruits (see what I did there?) this is just a lil' update to let you know about a new idea I've had for Dead End.
Basically, it gets a little boring sticking to one character for a long period of time. This is also my first graphic novel or anything like this that I've ever done, so I'm not as committed as I could be (I'm not saying that I'm not committed to this, because believe me, I am, but I'm just new to this kind of thing).
So, to make a long story short, I've decided to release Dead End as a series of chapters of varying length, each chapter for a different character. I'll most likely be drawing them at the same time as one another to stop myself from becoming disinterested, and I'll upload each one as soon as the chapter for that character is finished. I'll update you guys on different characters and chapters that I start and stuff, but I might not upload the chapters in the order that I announce them, if that makes sense to y'all.
Alright, I think that's everything, and here's the promised sneak peek, a piece of Dead End Volume 1 Page 3! Enjoy!

Zombie Head 1
Here's another design for Dead End, this time it's the head of a zombie who has been a zombie for a very long time (note the decomposing head with skull showing through it). I'm still working on Dead End and it's coming along nicely. I've decided to change it a little bit, and I'll do a post about that in a minute. But for now, enjoy this!
Wanderer
Hey guys, I've started to draw some fantasy characters for no particular reason other than they're fun to draw and I had a few ideas that I wanted to get down on paper. This is the first one, he's called Wanderer. No one knows his actual name or that much about him, apart from the fact that he roams the wastelands and avoids violence (but will not hesitate to fight off anything that picks a fight with him). Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Zombie Hand 1
Zombie Character Design (Female) 1
Here's a quick character design for a female zombie. I'm not sure if this is definitely what the zombies are gonna look like, this is just a concept. These things take time! But for the moment, enjoy this one and let me know what you think!
3 Stylised Video Game Characters
Here are some stylised little video characters, that took me like an hour to draw. Really, they did. An English lesson, to be exact. Enjoy them!
Dead End Volume 1, Page 1
Here's the first page, in full colour! I'll be keeping this hand-drawn style and using as little computer editing as possible to complete this graphic novel. This will be one of only a few pages that I'm going to upload, so make the most of them. Enjoy!
Dead End Cover 1
Here's a potential cover for my new graphic novel, "Dead end". If you're not familiar with that, read the post below, but if you are, let me know what you think of this!
Dead End Announcement
What's up guys, this is an announcement for something BIG. And I know, in the past, I've been pretty shitty at putting out big projects and actually sticking to them. But now, after a long time and lots of trial and error (mostly error) I've finally found something that I truly enjoy doing.
For the next few months I will be working on a graphic novel entitled "Dead End". It's a zombie-pocalypse novel but it's not like any others that I've ever seen before. There are many different main characters who all have either medium or short length survivals on this zombie infested planet. For instance, Bella Spanner, a mechanic from Dorset, England, will have a relatively long chapter in the novel. But for another character, Corey Wade from New York, America, the chapter will be very short. In the end, I think I'll kill everyone off. You have to understand that this is because it is more of an art book than one with an actual meaningful storyline. Alright, I think that's everything!
I won't be uploading many full pages from the novel as I want to reveal as little as possible about it until I've finished it, but I will be uploading some artwork, character and weapon designs, and maybe (if you're lucky) some finished pages.
That's just about it, see ya!

Pokemon: Ash Ketchum
This is just a little something I did when I was ill a few weeks ago. The "Pokemon" in the speech bubble is really dodgy-looking because I was shaking (I had a fever) so sorry about that! But it still turned out pretty well, and although it's not one of my best, I've learnt not to draw when I'm ill or it'll turn out crappy. Hope you enjoy!

I HAVE A TUMBLR
Hey guys, just a lil' update to let you all know that I now have a Tumblr as well as this Blog! This blog WILL STILL BE HERE and I will still be uploading things to it. I wouldn't shut it down or delete it for the world. There are too many memories here! So yeah, here's the link to the Tumblr, and I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye!
Weapons and Equipment
Here’s a whole host of video game and cartoon weapons and equipment for you to enjoy! Let me know if you want to another one, there are SO many more I could have used but I just chose these. See ya!

Some of My Favourites...
These are just a few my favourite video games and cartoons rolled into one character!
Key:
Minecraft: Head and pickaxe
Portal 2: Gun, trousers, and companion cube.
Pokemon: Pokeball belt (I was going to add Pikachu on his shoulder but I honestly couldn't).
Legend of Zelda: Hat, face, boots, sword, shoulder sling, boots, and Navi (fairy).
Scott Pilgrim: Wristbands and T-shirt (just realised that I probably could have added his sword on his back as well... Dammit).
SCOTT PILGRIM
"So... We try again."
This is probably one of the best drawings I've ever done, it certainly looks brilliant! This is copied straight from the cover of Scott Pilgrim Volume 6, so it's him in his most stylised and cartoony form (he started off more realistic but his artist changed his style).
Portal 2: Gel and Cube
This is a design on a T-shirt if I remember correctly... But I didn't copy it, I can say that honestly, it probably looks nothing like the T-shirt! But I really like this drawing, and for people who don't know about Portal this just looks like a cool abstract drawing, so it works out either way!
Link Hookshot
I really like the look of the classic Legend of Zelda Hookshot, it's the Zelda equivalent of the grappling hook and it's rad. This is also, in case you didn't notice, the first time I've ever drawn Link with a nose!
Scott Pilgrim: Final Fantasy Bassline
Here's a lil' something that wasn't copied from the comics, but still has some sort of relevance. If you've read the comics, you'll understand, if you haven't, do it now! The dude on the right is Stephen Stills, the Talent.
Scott Pilgrim: "You don't like my band?"
Yes, I am obsessed with Scott Pilgrim! Expect to see much more of him in the future, and on a serious note this was copied from book... 2 I think? Maybe it was 5... I think it was 5. Someone correct me on that!
