Day 1: Centaur

Don't. Make fun. Of the hands. I haven't got the hang of them on my tablet yet, and I'd like to see you do better!
So I started, for the lack of anything else to do, another 30 day challenge... This time it's monsters, and I'm honestly looking forward to it (no sarcasm intended)! At least there's more variety with this one, I realised drawing the same bloody couple time and time again got so boring so quickly.
I kinda like this one, his torso looks wicked and his face is cool! Tomorrow is... Slime, which should be awesome, I love green! So look out for that!

Robot and Flower

My first rather depressing drawing I've done in rather a long time indeed. There are reasons, just don't dwell on it. Let me know what you think, and try and come up with a suitable name for the robot!

Anthropomorphic Face 1

My first attempt at an anthropa... Antha... Namo... Animal-like face. It didn't turn out like I wanted it to, but it still looks cool. Let me know what you think, maybe it's a work of art and I just can't see it!

Dax V.S. Walker

I called the guy Dax, and there may or may not be something similar in a video game called a Walker, but I actually can't remember. This is one of the first times I've ever drawn backgrounds in a drawing, because they're usually really difficult to do unless you happen to be using an AWESOME tablet like mine! I also tried adding shadows on his face and in the background which you might not be able to see due to how small they are. But never mind!

Reptilian Boy Manga

Just trying out some new things like facial features and hair with this one. He actually turned out, apart from his weird computer grid skin, pretty awesome! Hope ya like it!

Manga Stanley

For being so nice to me for my entire life (or the entire time I've known him) I drew my brother (also not actually my brother) Stan a manga version of himself. I really really liked drawing this one, especially the suit jacket! Hope you like it Stan the man!
Also, your hair is awesome.

Manga Jonny

So I owed my brother (he's not really my brother, but I love him anyways) Jonny a manga version of himself for about a year now... So I decided to do a special one just for him. If you see this Jonny, hope you like it, and hope the rest of you like it too!

Manga Alice

So yeah, this drawing. You don't need to know...
Either way, I personally really like this one, this character has starLIGHT eyes, as opposed to starBURST like the last one. Let me know what you guys think!

Manga Link Face

So I got a Sketch Manga book for Christmas as well, so I've been putting that to awesome use recently. This one took a couple of hours, and that's because I saved it as a JPEG instead of a PNG so I couldn't colour it in properly (JPEGs have MUCH worse quality than PNGs so they have blurry bits around the edges of the lines). And if you understand that, well done!
Anyway, I really like this one, especially the starburst eyes (courtesy of my Sketch Manga book I got)!

Link and Mountains

Here's another one of my "Link and..." drawings, also the first thing I properly sat down and drew with my new tablet! Let me know what you think, and in case anyone actually reads this I'm still doing the 30 Day OTP Challenge, I'm just a little bit behind and can't really be asked to catch up. But I will! Don't worry!
But oh god doesn't this one look pretty... Jesus the colours are so sexy and bright...

TABLET FOR CHRISTMAS!

Hey guys, the reason I haven't been uploading any drawings lately is because I got a lovely new Bamboo drawing tablet for Christmas and I love it. I've been getting some practice in with that over the last few days and I'm now actually pretty good with it. I've done a buttload of drawings with it and I'm pretty happy with most of them, so I'll be uploading them when I finish this post.

Day 2: Cuddling Somewhere

Just a little thing I need to tell you guys... I f***ing. Hate. This drawing. I have nothing else to say.
Apart from the fact that my f***ing scanner didn't notice the fact that the whole background was blue, so this drawing looks even worse.

Day 1: Holding Hands

Yep, you probably guessed it, I chose Link and Zelda (or "Zink", as they've come to be known) for my OTP. I love them! There are lot's of firsts in this drawing, it's one of the first times I've drawn someone from the back, and this is the first time I've ever drawn Zelda as well! I did her without any reference, and I refuse to look at any for a while. We'll see how some of the rest of the drawings turn out. This one took me about an hour or two, and I love it! Let me know what you think, and seeing as I'm already on day 3, I'll upload day 2 in a minute!

30 DAY OTP CHALLENGE

Guys, I've started the 30 Day OTP Challenge. This consists of choosing an OTP (one-true-pairing for those less frequent internet users) from anything, anything at all. This could be a video-game, a movie, a TV series, a comic, a book, you name it! So you choose your couple and draw them in a scenario from this list, one every day. I've already done days 1 and 2, and I'm making this post on day 3! Hope you guys like it, and look out for them every day!

Link on a Horse

In case you haven't noticed, yes, I have developed a slight obsession with the Legend of Zelda series. Here's Link riding a horse that... Well, has more than a couple of issues.
But this is one of the first drawings I've done with something in the foreground AND a background (the very first one's like this were "Freedom" and "Turmoil" from a few months ago). I like it, but let me know what you think!

Link Headshot

Just an attempt at drawing link from the chest up, and it turned out awesome! I really like this one, and for the first time ever Link has ears! I think I'll do a version of Zelda this big, and I'll upload that when I've done it.

Deborah: Sniper

I drew this one in a Spanish lesson at school! It turned out alright, and the sniper rifle's in 3D at least so it looks brilliant. Deborah was really happy with this one, and I'm glad I finally got to draw someone with green eyes!

Skyrim: Dovakhin

I am terribly sorry to any Skyrim fans out there if I spelt his name wrong! It wasn't originally going to be him, I just wanted to draw someone medieval, and it kind of turned into him near the end when I did the horns on the helmet. All from memory so it probably doesn't look anything like him either, but i sort of like this one!

Lola: Archer

Now this is by far my favourite manga version of someone. It took me the longest, and hard work certainly did pay off in the long run! Oddly enough though, Lola was not altogether too pleased with this one. She kind of just said "Thanks" and that was the end of it.

Link on a Boat

Well... I don't really like this one, but it's colourful and it's got link in it so it's fine nonetheless.

Thomas: Batter

Yes, the name is ridiculous. No, he hasn't wet himself, it's his zip. But I like it!

Orlando: Gentleman

Almost made the mistake of calling him "GentleMEN" at the bottom, implying that he's more than one gentleMAN. He was really pleased with this one, and I hope you guys like it too!

Anil. V: Super-Soldier

Yet another manga/stylised version of someone, this time it's Anilcan. He chose a lot more than most people did with this one to be fair (name at the top, the two swords on his back, the bandoliers, and the weapon). But it turned to be cool anyway.

Alice: Adventurer

Another manga/stylised version of someone I know. I REALLY like this one and hope you guys do too!

Santa Claus A.K.A 'North'

Here's another Rise of the Guardians drawing, this time it's North! Hope you guys enjoy the colours on this one, I certainly do!

The Sandman A.K.A 'Sandy'

I started drawing Rise of the Guardian characters in a manga style, let me know what you think!

India: Temptress

This one has a reason behind it! Basically, I decided to put a status on facebook telling everyone that if they liked it they would get a manga version of themselves, but they had to pick which weapon they wanted. I decided to base the clothes they're wearing, the nickname at the bottom of the page, and just the overall look of the drawing on WHICH specific weapon they chose. Hope you guys like it!

Lucile: Pilot

This is also probably one of the best manga style drawings I've done in a long time! I really like the way she turned out, and she's kind of inspired by the anime series, Gundam (which I just started watching). Expect more like her in the future!

Lucifer: Fallen Angel

This. Drawing. Is. Awesome. I am completely satisfied with this one as well, and I think it's one of the best I've ever done. Some of you might disagree, but I think so! I drew this one in a Religious Education lesson at school, and when the teacher came over to see what I was doing he just said "Wow... That's actually really cool." and just walked off!

Portal 2: Leaping

Here's Chell again, this time in an action pose as she soars through the air with the famous weighted companion cube!

Portal 2: Plantlife

This is meant to be the beginning of Portal 2 when Chell (the protagonist) first gets the portal gun and all the plants are kind of leaking through the walls and stuff. If you haven't played the game then you probably should, it's awesome!

Link and Navi

This one could also be me, but when I drew it I intended it to be the original Link. I'm really really proud of this one, very happy with how it turned out, but let me know what you guys think!

Tabitha

Decided to call her that because she's a cat. I wasn't too proud of this one, but I figured I'd upload it anyway, just for you guys!

Link in a Cave

In case you hadn't noticed, this one's meant to be! The title could do with some work, I'll give it that... But the drawing's the bit that matters.

Ice Realm 2

The second part of the Ice Realm.
Fun fact: If you put this and the first one together they connect!

Ice Realm 1

Just thought I'd mix up my style for a bit and do some landscape drawings! Here's the first one, I've got another one to upload, and I should be finished with the third one soon!

Gerudo Valley: Banjo V.S. Ukulele

So I was jotting down the chords for the Zelda tune, Gerudo Valley, when it suddenly hit me: I should totally write these out in neat, it would look awesome! So I did, and it... Well to be honest, turned out kinda messy, but at least it's better than scribbles on post-it notes. But let me know what you guys think of it and I'll be happy to make more of these in the future!

New Shoopsoldier Title

The new and improved Shoopsoldier title! This is also now the cover for my Facebook page, so here's the link to that so you can get on over there and like it to stay updated on more Shoopsoldier Stuff!

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shoopsoldier/206185796118477

Rohandra

As you guys could probably tell from the last drawing I uploaded, I've gotten back into drawing in a manga style! Granted, the only thing that reflects that is the out of proportion weapons and amazing eyes. Let me know whether you want to see more of this kind of stuff or if there are any other of my old styles that you want me to revert back to.

Female Link 1

This is my version of Link, the hero from the Zelda franchise as a certain female. As you may or may not be able to tell, the fairy (Navi or something I think it's called) is meant to be me. Let me know what you think, but I don't care if you don't like it because I love it!

NEW SKETCHBOOK

Hey guys, quick update to let you know that I got another new sketchbook and I'll be uploading the drawings as soon as I've finished/get bored with it. I'll be sure to keep you posted on everything else like papercrafts and the medieval diorama, but it looks like those two are out of business, at least for the moment. See you guys soon, Shoopsoldier out!
If you're lucky, I might upload some of the pictures sooner!

Medieval Diorama: Mountains 1

Pretty boring, I know, but this is where the Land Dragon lives (and there's the little village in the background). I should probably think of names for all of the dragons... Yeah, that would be good. I'll be making a few more mountains for him to rule over, but until then this is all he's got!

Medieval Diorama: Tar/Slime Monsters

These guys are the first monsters not to be dragons, so let me know what you think of them!

Medieval Diorama: Wizard Tower/Spire

This one took the longest to make, probably because it's the most complicated. But it turned out looking pretty good, and it takes pride of place in the middle of the entire thing. Let me know what you think!

Medieval Diorama: Sky Dragon

Definitely the coolest of the three dragons, because he can fricking fly!! I used a Warhammer stand and taped him to it to make him fly. Well, that and his awesome wings.

Medieval Diorama: Land Dragon

The second dragon in my diorama, this guy's got two legs and that's how he stands up (they're stuck to the paper). He's definitely my least favourite of the three dragons, but my dad said that he thinks he's beautiful! Let me know what YOU think!

Medieval Diorama: Sea Dragon

One of the three dragons in my medieval diorama, I made it so he's arching out of his own little river, and he looks awesome!

Medieval DIORAMA Update

This is just a little update to let you guys know that I'm keeping my medieval board game as just a paper diorama. I've got some more photos of loads of cool new stuff I've added so look out for them soon!

Medieval Board Game: Windmill, House, Cart

These are the first little structures and buildings in my medieval board game! From now on to save space I'll just refer to it as "MBG". I think these turned out really well, aren't they just the cutest little things you've ever seen? I couldn't make tiny horses to fit on the cart, sorry about that. If you want a sense of scale, the windmill is about 3 or 4 centimetres tall, the house is 2cm wide, and the cart is only 1cm long! Pretty damn small, huh? Let me know if you like them or not, but either way I'll upload more soon. Cya!

Medieval Themed Board Game!

Hey guys, I'm now in the process of making a medieval-themed board game! It's a flat paper board game with 3D structures like villages and stuff, I might make it sort of like an RPG or something, which should be cool. I'll upload what I've done at the end of every day and that should keep me busy for a week at least. Let me know what you think of this idea, and if you have any of your own be sure to tell me!

Lance Corporal Armenius (Chiron IV)

I've finally started doing the character designs for my novel again! This is by far my favourite character,  but that's probably just because he's the violent one. His armour is also my favourite by a long way, I'm really happy with how his helmet turned out, it completely reflects his character and personality. His face looks a bit weird, but I only drew it so this drawing would look like the rest of the Chiron sketches. Let me know what you think, and I'll keep you guys updated on the novel!

Chiron IV New Cover!

This. Is. Awesome.
As you guys probably know, I'm writing a novel called Chiron IV, and I needed a proper cover for it. So here it is, designed, created, and just generally made by Tom Hemery, known on the internet as Wixic111. He sent me this a couple of weeks ago and it looks totally awesome. So, look out for this on bookshelves soon!

Tower Demon (Coloured)

As I promised, I coloured it in! Pretty unoriginal of me to make him red, but it looked like that in my head.

What's Your Dark Side?

Just a quick drawing, but I really liked it. Think it would probably look good on a T-shirt or something, am I right? Also I'll be colouring in my Tower Demon sketch now, so expect that either later tonight or tomorrow!
