Dunny Stylised: Work In Progress 21/2/14

So seeing as I posted the last update for this on Thursday last week, I might as well do them weekly until it's finished! So here it is, it's weird seeing this with so much more colour than last week, seems like such a short time ago (which it was!). Anyways, enjoy, and I'll probably finish it soon as you can tell by how fast I'm progressing with it. See ya soon!

Also, his shoes are totally the wrong colour, the actual Dunny figure I got the inspiration for this from doesn't wear anything other than the wood-looking soles so I had to make up the shoes myself.

Dunny Stylised: Work In Progress

[See original drawing in post below] This thing is going SO well. I'm managing to get enough done in the few precious spare moments I have between GCSE revision and homework to stay on schedule to finish it in a reasonable amount of time. I love how it's turning out so far, the colour looks so crisp and clean compared to some of my older drawings and it's looking exactly how I wanted it to (which, if you've seen my Water Guardian post, you'll know is an incredibly rare thing for me and indeed most artists). Expect more updates soon, might do them weekly, fortnightly etc. but it doesn't look like it's gonna take that much longer to complete, so there may not be the need for any more. Enjoy!

Also, my Star Wars/Adventure Time mashup is still in progress. I'm working on it as best as I can but it's taking a longer time because it's much a much more complicated and detailed drawing. Ideally I could sit down for a few hours and just draw it and listen to music, but GCSEs really don't allow for free periods of time as long as that. I'll keep you guys posted!

Dunny Stylised

So I popped down to my local cult entertainment megastore, Forbidden Planet, and I decided to buy a Dunny from the new Apocalypse series (all credit to the original Dunny below, therefore, goes to Huck Gee). I really liked the look of this when I opened up the box, so I sat down and drew him more stylised. I'm in the process of colouring this one, and it should be done soon because I've pretty much completely got the hang of my tablet now. More uploads as soon as possible!

New Work in Progress!

I've got a new drawing on the way, and it's a good one! I'm really proud of how it's turning out so far, and I can't wait to see the finished product, as I'm sure you guys can't either. I've got a lot of homework at the moment which is getting in the way of drawing stuff, but I'm much better and more used to using my tablet now so I can get drawings done in like a quarter of the time. I'm also making a speedart of this one while I'm doing it, so I'll probably be able to upload that to the blog with the drawing (provided there are no technical difficulties, which there have been in the past).
But on to the actual drawing! The only things I can tell you are that it's a fusion of Adventure Time and Star Wars, and if you have never seen either one or both of those things before then I suggest you do, because they are the best and uhm they're like totally the best. See you guys soon, hopefully that "soon" isn't as long as last time. I understand my blog's viewing figures have gone down drastically but I also know that that's not the fault of you viewers but mine. I really want to increase my output and uploading in this new year that is 2014, so here's to a more productive, creative and overall better year this time. Peace!

Pokemon Robot: FINISHED

I finally did it... Here it is! It looks so amazing all built up as an actual robot, I'll be able to upload some pictures of the assembled 'bot at some point either today or tomorrow, so look forward to that! But for now, if you actually have the robot kit I've been using to make this. feel free to use this template! Just keep my signature on it, because art theft is shitty.

Pokemon Robot (as of 24/11/13)

So it's still not done but, as promised, I'll be uploading the progress every Sunday. I have a period where I'm not getting any homework because I'm meant to be revising for my mocks instead (and I will be doing that, it just doesn't take as long as normal homework does), so I'll be able to work on this much more. I think the fact that I haven't given up on this at all shows something, so I'm now really confident for making webcomics and whatnot after this because I know that I can be committed to seriously large projects over long periods of time. Either way, let me know what you think so far and uh... I pretty much only have to finish the "Pokemon" on the back of the body and do the Eevee on the arm, then it'll be done! Oh, and Vaporeon's frill, too. Woop!

Pokemon Robot (Unfinished)

Another week gone, and it's still not finished. I apologise, doing GCSE's and finding time to draw at the same time is pretty darn difficult. As you can see, I've done all of Mew except for his tail (only his head was done the first time I uploaded this) and I've made a start on Flareon in the top right there.
I'll be sure to keep updating you guys on progress every weekend, and who knows? Maybe it'll be done one of these days.
